Committees are the life-blood of School Council - where all the work gets done. Committees offer opportunities for parents, staff, and even students to get involved as a member or a leader of a committee.
Committees address specific aspects of the school community and provide recommendations to or undertake actions of the School Council. Committees can be long standing ones, recently created, or ad-hoc, lasting only as long as they are needed.
All committees are directly responsible to School Council. Each includes a Chair and one School Council Parent Member (who need not be the Chair).
All Northern parents are welcome to join one (or more!) committees. Membership is always open. For more information, fill in the Volunteer Form and we'll put be in touch.
